The 2019 Little League World Series marks the first time that Adidas will be the official uniform provider of the tournament. The Three Stripe brand gave us our first look at the upcoming tournament with the unveiling of the official jerseys.
Let’s just say these are a big upgrade from what we have come to see in the past.
“When these boys and girls from around the world get together and share a common experience and goal, there is a unique bonding experience that happens and we wanted to showcase that unity through the design of these uniforms,” said Todd Rolak, senior design director for Adidas, via Baseball America.
“The Little League World Series tournaments are a tremendous journey for young athletes, and we find the ability to have an impact on these moments and these memories incredibly rewarding at Adidas.”

Baseball America added details about the jerseys which include:
The new designs for both the baseball and softball uniforms used Little League’s traditional colorways as inspiration. On the jersey sleeves, expect to find a color bar design element made up of seven color blocks built from the region’s original colorway and inspired by flags. To signify and celebrate the unity, each color bar fuses together to create a “unity band” on the inside neck of the jersey.
Each jersey will also have the Little League patch on the left shoulder and a Little League World Series logo on the right shoulder.
“The Little League World Series is an iconic event that gives the opportunity for kids in communities all around the world to come together and unite through the games of baseball and softball,” added Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
“Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the Adidas team, this year’s uniforms will create a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will remind every Little League World Series player about the importance of unity, tradition and history.”

The 2019 Little League World Series will be held from Thursday, August 15 through Sunday, August 25.
