Arnold Schwarzenegger, 71-years-old, was attacked at a “sporting event” in South Africa called the Arnold Classic Africa.
Video shows his attacker, described as a “crazed fan”, running & drop-kicking the former California Governor in the back.
The assailant, who has yet to be identified but is clearly a male, can be heard asking Schwarzenegger a Lamborghini after the attack.
Reports indicate that Schwarzenegger was unharmed in the blindside attack. Later on in the video, Schwarzenegger can be seen leaving the venue.

The Arnold Classic Africa, held in Sandton, South Africa, is a bodybuilding competition that “affords athletes the opportunity to compete in an international competition, against participants from all continents, in Africa,” according to the official website.
Following the attack, Schwarzenegger released a statement on Twitter thanking fans for their concern and downplaying the incident, saying he’s just glad “the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”
“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat,” the 71-year-old former California Governor tweeted.

Schwarzenegger also encouraged fans to also share videos of his Arnold Sports athletes, of which there are over 24,000 in South Africa alone.
“We have 90 sports here in South Africa at the @ArnoldSports, and 24,000 athletes of all ages and abilities inspiring all of us to get off the couch. Let’s put this spotlight on them,” The Terminator actor encouraged.
