The NBA rumors are swirling just hours ahead of the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery. The New York Knicks are one of the teams with the best odds to land the No. 1 overall pick which many believe they would immediately use to land Duke basketball star Zion Williamson.
But not so fast, my friends…
According to a report from The Athletic‘s Shams Charania, the Knicks will reportedly trade the No. 1 overall pick to the New Orleans Pelicans along with standout rookie Kevin Knox in exchange for superstar big man Anthony Davis.
“The Knicks getting the No. 1 pick impacts the Anthony Davis potential trade talks,” Charania said during an appearance with Stadium. “I’m told if the Knicks do get that No.1 overall pick that they will shift their focus toward a potential deal for Anthony Davis.”
If the #Knicks land the No. 1 pick, hold off on ordering those Zion Williamson jerseys.

That would be quite the curveball, but it would still give the Knicks a star player on the roster to begin their rebuild around. But you have to believe the Knicks faithful — which includes spiritual and faith leaders in the city praying outside of Madison Square Garden on Tuesday — would be none too pleased with the news.
We will get all of our answers in a matter of ours.
