In today’s social media age, there is plenty of negativity on the internet. But when holidays roll around, we are sometimes treated to heart-warming videos that will instantly bring a smile to your face. Thanks to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, we were given another one of those videos that will have you thinking someone was cutting onions.
For Mother’s Day, Wilson and his family, wife Ciara and two-year-old daughter Sienna Princess, joined his mother Tammy to present her special gift.
Much to her surprise, she was handed the keys to a brand new house.
“You’re lying. Are you serious?!” she explained after being told the house was hers. “No, are you serious? For real? That’s not funny! No, no, no y’all lyin’!”
Wilson shared the video on Instagram.
“All these years you have never asked me for anything,” he wrote in the caption. “Only thing you ever wanted is for me to LOVE. Well thanks for loving us the way you do. This ones for you. I love you momma.”

Ciara responded by commenting, “What a beautiful day and moment. Tears of Joy! The perfect Mother’s Day. God you’re a good good father.”
In April of this year, Wilson signed a $140 million contract extension with the Seahawks that included $65 million in guaranteed. With the deal, Wilson is now the highest player in the National Football League. It is great to see that he is putting that money to good use and taking care of those who supported him during his journey to the league.
