American Idol — which has just been renewed for a third season on ABC and its 18th season overall — is set to close out the season on Sunday, May 12. The three finalists, Alejandro Aranda, Laine Hardy, and Madison VanDenburg, will be taking the stage for their final performances of the season as part of a star-studded two-day finale.
Along with solo performances, there will be returning fan favorites and current music stars.
Among the special performances will be Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Jay-Z, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, and performances from all three of the judges.
