The first song from the official Game of Thrones-inspired album, “Power is Power” by Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and SZA, has just dropped.
The album, aptly titled For The Throne: Music Inspired By The HBO Series, is a Game of Thrones-inspired studio album that features original music from the A-list artists such as Travis Scott, Mumford & Sons, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, A$AP Rocky, Lil Peep, & more.

And because HBO is HBO, Travis Scott, SZA, and The Weeknd are just a handful of A-listers that will be appearing on the album.

For The Throne, which is already available for pre-order, will be released by Columbia Records on Friday, April 26 (which also just so happens to be the release date of Avengers: Endgame.)
In addition to the standard digital release, HBO will also be releasing various vinyl copies of the album, such as a multicolor “fire and ice” edition, and individual “house” editions that feature unique cover designs for all of the major Game of Thrones houses: Targaryen, Stark, Lannister, Tyrell, Martell, Baratheon, Tully, Arryn, and Greyjoy.
The eighth and final season of the Emmy-award winning fantasy action drama Game of Thrones, which will consist of just six episodes, began airing on HBO on Sunday, April 14.
