The New York Jets are set to unveil their new uniforms on Thursday, April 3. With anticipation building for the “complete redesign” of the team’s classic look, the internet is in a frenzy as they try to catch a first look.
That led to a photo making the rounds on Twitter 24 hours prior to the official unveiling.
The photo, which included multiple versions of the “new” Jets look, claims to be a leak of the threads that New York will be wearing for the 2019-20 NFL season. There is a green jersey, white jersey, and all-black look in the photo with a helmet that features a throwback Jets logo.

The Athletic’s Connor Hughes appeared to confirm that these are the uniforms the Jets will wear by writing, “Trying to figure out whoever first leaked this photo, but I’m told these are it.”
Well, not so fast, my friends.
Paul Lukas of ESPN’s Uni Watch pointed out a small detail that shows the uniforms may be a fake.
“To everyone freaking out over that Jets leak, two thoughts: (1) Source is not confirmed, so I have no idea whether this is legit. (2) Jersey collars appear to have the standard NFL shield, not the NFL 100 logo that we know all teams will be wearing in 2019. Just sayin’,” he wrote on Twitter.
And then there is this from New York Jets safety Jamal Adams:

I guess we will just have to wait until Thursday to see the official look. Until then, let’s keep our hopes high because apparently, the players love them.
