Who Is Dr. Sebi & What Is The Conspiracy Surrounding His Death?

Dr. Sebi, born Alfredo Darrington Bowman on November 26, 1933, in Ilanga Honduras, has found himself back in the headlines following the untimely death of rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down in broad daylight outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles, California. Nips was working on a documentary about Dr. Sebi at the time of his murder, leading many to come up with conspiracy theories regarding the rapper’s death.
Many believe that Nipsey was killed for his connection to the project focused on Dr. Sebi, who had mysterious circumstances surrounding his death as well.
Dr. Sebi, whose real name was Alfredo Darrington Bowman, believed that all diseases could be cured with natural healing and he had even claimed to have the cure for AIDs before a mysterious death that conspiracy theorists link to the US government and US Medical Corporations.
Sebi reportedly passed away while in prison for money laundering in Honduras.
He is survived by his 17 children.

The official cause of death for Dr. Sebi is listed as “complications from pneumonia,” according to The Source. However, many believe there may be some darker secrets behind the death of the herbalist, healer, and biochemist. The lack of media coverage also led many to believe that a cover-up could be at hand.
“Conspiracy theorists believe that the lack of attention paid to Dr. Sebi’s teachings, the lack of publicity surrounding his reported successes, and the mystery surrounding his arrest and death [is] because, as any street hustler can tell you, there’s no money in the cure—the money is in the sickness. The pharmaceutical business not only needs you sick but doesn’t make money if you’re well,” an article from The Root read.
The conspiracy theories suggest that Dr. Sebi was killed by the U.S. Medical Corporations after claiming to have found a cure for aids. A cure would have cut into profits for the medical industry, which led many to believe that was the motive behind taking Sebi’s life. Sebi had also gone to trial after his AIDs cure claim, and was able to successfully win his case.
While Nipsey Hussle’s documentary on the healer will be halted for the foreseeable future, Nick Cannon has stepped up to say he will carry on the legacy and finish the project.
