WATCH: Boxer Kash Ali DQ'd For Biting Opponent During Match

British boxer Kash Ali appeared to draw some inspiration from Mike Tyson when he found himself facing an uphill battle on Saturday, March 30 against opponent David Price. After already losing a point for punching Price in the back of the head, Ali resorted to biting his opponent in the abdomen.
As the two men clinched, they fell off balance and tumbled to the mat. Once they were on the ground, Ali took a bite out of Price’s body.
Referee Mark Lyson immediately disqualified Ali for his actions and awarded Price the win. Photos of the aftermath show a very visible, deep bite mark right under Price’s chest.
The incident occurred in Round 5 after Price had hurt Ali with a heavy shot.
Here is the moment Ali took a bite out of his opponent.

And here is the imprint of Ali’s grill on Price’s body.

Ouch.
Following the match, Ali had asked for a rematch but Price doesn’t seem too eager to oblige. Price also said that Ali bit him several times throughout the match.
“I don’t want to share the ring again with an animal like that,” Price told the Guardian. “He did a couple early on and I thought he had lost his head completely. I hurt him to the body just before the final bite he took.
“He should not be paid for the fight – give the money to grassroots boxing and help develop amateur boxing. Biting a man when he’s on the floor… there aren’t many things lower.”
As he was making his way out of M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, fans voiced their displeasure by shouting at Ali and showering him with beer.

Once the incident is reviewed, you can expect Ali to receive a heavy fine for his actions. And that might not be all. It is very possible that the 27-year-old Ali, who entered the fight undefeated, could be set to face a lengthy ban.
