Following Sunday’s meeting between college basketball blue-bloods Michigan State and Duke, the Final Four of the 2019 NCAA Tournament will be set and teams will head to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the home stretch of March Madness.
Duke enters the game as the slight favorite, with the Blue Devils and Spartans serving as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in the East Region, respectively.
The Blue Devils are fresh off of a scare against Virginia Tech in the Sweet 16 where it took the Hokies missing three shots in the last ten seconds for Duke to claim a 75-73 win and advance. But despite the nailbiting finish, Duke is ready for their toughest test of the tournament.
“Now that it’s March Madness, every game is kind of going to be like this — close, hard-fought games,” Duke freshman RJ Barrett said, via ESPN.com. “We somehow find a way to keep winning at the end. It’s great. We’re not surprised by it, but we’ve just got to keep it up.”
