Barstool Big Cat Net Worth Right Now: How Much Does Dan Katz Make?

Dan Katz, better known as Barstool Big Cat, is a sports media personality best known for hosting the wildly popular sports comedy podcast “Pardon My Take”.

Barstool Big Cat Net Worth 2019: $500,000 – $1.5 million

There are no official numbers out there, but it has been reported that Katz is one of a handful of Barstool Sports employees that received a stake in the company following their initial sale to The Chernin Group.
Additionally, while this is merely unfounded speculation and hearsay, my friend from high school who used to work for Katz’s former agency once told me Big Cat allegedly makes “over six figures”, which is about par for the course for mid-level a sports media personality as in-demand as Katz.  Celebrity NetWorth also reports that Katz’s net worth is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million
Again, purely speculation, but these are the best sources we’ve got.

Early Life & Pre-Barstool Career

Dan Katz was born on January 30, 1985, and grew up in Massachusettes before moving to Chicago. He attended the University of Wisconsin and is a passionate Chicago sports fan.

Barstool Sports Career

Katz joined Barstool Sports in his 20s as one of the company’s first content creators as he was hired to run the company’s Chicago website.
Since The Chernin Group acquired Barstool Sports, Katz has gone on to become the company’s most valuable and prolific employee as he seems to be the only one that can seamlessly make the transition to the mainstream.
As host of the sports comedy podcast Pardon My Take, Katz has become one of the most recognizable voices in the world of sports media, as Pardon My Take consistently ranks among the most downloaded sports podcasts in the United States.
Following the success of Pardon My Take, Katz and co-host PFT Commenter (whose real name we could publish but we chose not to) were hired by ESPN for the show Barstool Van Talk. However, due to controversies surrounding the company, Barstool Van Talk was canceled after just one episode.
Katz has also made appearances various sports talk shows such as The Dan Patrick Show, PFT Live, and Men In Blazers.
Along with co-host PFT Commenter, the Pardon My Take duo are easily Barstool’s most recognizable talents.
On Tuesday, March 26, Kats announced that he was going to be having his first child in June 2019.
