The trials and tribulations of former Jackass star Bam Margera over the last decade have been nothing short of heartbreaking.
Already an addict during the peak of his fame, Margera’s life and career really went off the rails following the death of his close friend Ryan Dunn, who died in 2011 after a fiery drunk driving accident.
While Margera has had temporary moments of sobriety here and there over the last few years — he appeared on the VH1 reality series Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn — a majority of his past decade has been rife with addiction struggles.
Now, after reportedly checking himself into rehab at the beginning of 2019, Margera seems to back to his bad habits, as he was recently filmed absolutely berating his innocent-seeming manager while at a New York City comedy club.
In the video, Bam can be heard calling his unnamed-manager a “f***ing p***y.”
“Take me home, now!” Margera yells. “Get my Range Rover and take me home now you “f***ing p***y!” he continues before getting physical with the young man.
According to TMZ, “Bam threatened to smash his manager’s face after showing up to an empty NYC comedy club where he was slated to perform.”
Witnesses at the scene say that Margera, who appeared intoxicated, had canceled his 7 p.m. show after getting into an argument with his wife. He then reportedly showed up two hours early to his 10 p.m. show and had the meltdown when he saw the club was empty.
As a result of his outburst, the report indicates that Margera was checked into a behavioral facility, although he “didn’t go easily.”
“A family source says the former “Jackass” star was admitted into a behavioral facility. We’re told Bam was resistant, and family members had to have him committed. The plan now is for him to consult with multiple specialists to come up with a recovery plan,” TMZ said.
