Conservative provocateur Tomi Lahren landed a role at FOX News after being fired from The Blaze over pro-choice comments on The View. Since then, she has gone all-in on Donald Trump and the immigration debate, becoming one of his strongest advocates for the controversial border wall.
Because of her support for the border wall, Lahren wasn’t too happy to learn that Trump was set to accept a “sham border deal” proposed by the Senate — despite the fact it was a bipartisan effort.
Tomi took to social media to express her displeasure.
“I’m not gonna sugar coat it, if @realDonaldTrump takes this sham border deal from the Democrats, he loses in 2020 and we ALL lose for years to come,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’ll discuss on @foxandfriends in 10 mins.”

After hitting the “tweet” button, Lahren once again became an enemy of the staunch conservatives.

After seeing the backlash, it looks like Tomi quickly changed her tune. Instead of bashing the bipartisan deal, she decided to praise Donald Trump for his decision to proceed with a “national emergency” declaration which has been opposed by people of both parties — and a decision that will go through the court system with many questioning whether it is unconstitutional.
But alas, you have to win back your base.

Trump officially declared a “national emergency” to secure the border wall funding on Friday, February 15 on the White House lawn at a press conference at 10:00 a.m. ET. Now, we just have to see what type of legal fight is ahead and what kind of political repercussions this could have on the few politicians who are supporting the decision.
