WATCH: YNW Melly Documentary Heavily Featured Childhood Friends He Allegedly Killed

On Wednesday, February 13, 19-year-old rapper Jamell Maurice Demons, a rising Florida rapper better known by his stage name YNW Melly, turned himself in to Miramar police in connection to the shootings of Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr.

Williams and Thomas, also known as YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, were childhood friends of Melly and authorities claim he was the man who pulled the trigger and fatally shot them multiple times.

Melly is then accused of getting the help of Cortlen Henry, known as YNW Bortlen, to stage the scene so it looked like a drive-by shooting.

The news shocked those in the music industry as Melly was one of the more promising artists in his genre, and the severity of the allegations are deeply troubling. However, the story turns even darker when you look back at the official “MELLY” documentary which is available on YouTube.

The documentary gives an inside look at Melly’s upbringing and Sakchaser and Juvy are prominently featured throughout. In fact, Juvy is scene on camera throughout the entirety of the project as they reflect on their younger days.

At the end of the documentary, there is an on-screen message which read: “Four days after the completion of this film, YNW Melly and his friends were the targets of a drive-by shooting in Miami, Florida. YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser were killed.”

Melly even continued to mourn their deaths on social media before being charged with double-homicide. He has been denied bond.
