While on the red carpet of the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, Marvel Studio head Kevin Feige gave an update on the newest Avengers: Endgame trailer and what it may or may not reveal.
Speaking to MTV News, Feige said that given the magnitude of hype that will be generated by the next Avengers: Endgame trailer, the trailer will likely only include scenes from the “first 15 to 20 minutes of the movie.”
That was obviously the case with the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which was released back at the beginning of December 2018.
“As was the case with a lot of our films, this one in particular, being able to generate a lot of excitement without giving away one of the many, many, many secrets. I think the Disney marketing team is the best in the world and we’ll be able to pull it off.”
Feige also addressed the rumors that Vice director would have an interest in directing Fantastic Four should the Disney-Fox merger go through, saying that McKay is “not only an incredibly smart guy, he’s an honest to goodness fan.”
Additionally, Feige says that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 “will happen” although the “when, where, how” is “for another time.”
Avengers: Endgame, the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.
The movie, which will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019, stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more.
