Oklahoma vs. Alabama; the stage is set. The No. 4 Sooners and top-ranked Crimson Tide are set for a mammoth showdown in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Saturday, December 29 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida to wrap up the College Football Playoff semifinals.
Alabama has been atop the college football world since winning last year’s national championship, while the Sooners faced some adversity early on in the season after suffering a loss to the rival Texas Longhorns.
But Oklahoma rallied, and behind Heisman Trophy-winner Kyler Murray the Sooners will look continue making the big plays they have all season to knock off Nick Saban’s juggernaut.
The winner of Oklahoma vs. Alabama advances to take on the winner of Notre Dame vs. Clemson earlier in the night for the national title. The College Football Playoff National Championship Game will take place Monday, January 7, 2019, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
