The grandmother of rapper Meek Mill had her home vandalized on Monday, December 17. The Philadelphia rapper took to social media to share the news with his followers and said that the home in South Philadelphia was vandalized with the word “ACORN” which is associated with the white power movement.
Meek was not happy with the attack on his family and shared video surveillance that shows a white man approaching the home.

The 31-year-old also issued a stern warning to the perpetrator.
“The crazy part is this was a all black neighborhood 20 years ago,” Meek wrote on Twitter. “It was gentrified and now this! Just don’t let us catch you coward!”

TMZ reports that law enforcement officials have opened up an investigation into the incident and Meek also filed an official police report. The Blast adds that the “ACORN” tagging on Meek Mill’s grandmother’s home is the latest in a string of graffiti-related incidents in South Philly using the term, which is slang for “white privilege” and is commonly used by neo-Nazi groups.
Meek Mill recently dropped his latest album, Championships, on November 30. The album — which was met with plenty of praise and debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 — features appearances from Cardi B, Drake, Jay Z, Rick Ross, Anuel AA, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Jeremih, PnB Rock, Fabolous, Future, Young Thug, and more.
