The 2018-19 college basketball kicks off with an epic Champions Classic matchup, as Tom Izzo’s #10 ranked Michigan State Spartans travel to Indianapolis for a meeting with Bill Self’s #1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks.
The Kansas Jayhawks, who reached the Final Four of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, are currently favored in the matchup by six points.
According to the NCAA, Kansas has a clear size advantage over Michigan State with Nick Ward and Kenny Goins starting at the center and power forward positions, respectively.
However, Michigan State will look to counter that height advantage with the point guard play of Cassius Winston, who averaged 12.6 points and 6.9 assists on 51 percent shooting last year.
