Warner Bros. has released the final full trailer for the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, and if this last teaser is to be believed, then this movie is going to be much better than the first one.
The second film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Crimes Of Grindelwald introduces us to Jude Law’s portrayal of Dumbledore and Johnny Depp‘s (controversial inclusion notwithstanding) villainous Grindelwald.
The Fantastic Beast series, which follows Newt Scamander, is a prequel to the famed Harry Potter series and is set in New York City 70 years before Harry’s story begins.
The official plot synopsis for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald:
At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald —- starring Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Johhny Depp, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech — is set to be released in theaters on November 16.
