Ten people have been shot at an apartment complex in San Bernardino, California. Three of the victims are in “extremely critical” condition, according to an update from San Bernardino Police spokesman Captain Richard Lawhead. According to Lawhead, the shooting occurred in a common area at the complex.
A group of people were reportedly playing dice when the shooting began.
There is no suspect in custody this time, and all of the victims are believed to be adults.
Multiple handguns and rifles were reportedly used in the shooting.

CNN interviewed someone who lives near the apartment complex, Alysa Marie, who says they heard 15 to 20 rapid gunshots ring out. Multiple ambulances immediately made their way to the scene. Stray bullets entered at least two apartments in the complex, though none of those residents were harmed.
After the call went out at 10:45 PT that called for first responders with “at least 10 victims down.” All of the victims are believed to have been outside.
Marie added that helicopters could be heard scanning the area as law enforcement officials continue to search for suspects.
“My brother-in-law could hear bullets flying past our house, he was outside at the time of the shooting,” Marie told CNN. “About five minutes later the helicopter was circling around our street (Lynwood), talking on the loud speaker saying to put down the weapons, for the people who were on the ground to get up and get to safety and to let the law enforcement do their job.”
