Chance The Rapper Becomes Chance The Actor In The First Trailer For 'Slice'

A24, the studio behind Green Room, The Witch, Eighth Grade, Ex Machina, The Room and many more excellent films has released the first trailer for Slice.
Slice, which was written an directed by Austin Vesely, stars Chance the Rapper, Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Will Brill (The OA), Joe Keery (Stranger Things), and Paul Scheer (The Disaster Artist). This will mark Chance the Rapper’s feature film debut. Vesely is a long-time friend and collaborator of Chance the Rapper’s, as he directed the music videos for “22 Offs,” “Brain Cells,” “Juice,” “Sunday Candy,” and “Angels.”
The official synopsis for Slice, which began production in 2016:

In a spooky small town, when a slew of pizza delivery boys are slain on the job, two daring survivors (Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz and Chance the Rapper in a wild film debut) set out to catch the culprits behind the cryptic crime spree.

While the official release date for Slice has yet to be announced, it is expected to premiere sometime later in 2018.
