Bud Light To Give Free Beer To Fans When The Cleveland Browns Finally Win

Cleveland Browns fans have been suffering for quite a long time. The franchise’s last win came in Week 16 of the 2016 regular season against the San Diego Chargers. After going winless in 2017, the Browns and their faithful are looking for some beacon of hope and that has now come courtesy of Bud Light.
On Tuesday, Aug. 14, Bud Light announced that they are teaming up with the Browns organization with an offer that is sure to add some joy to the long-awaited win.
The Browns will be introducing “Victory Fridges” that are filled with Bud Light bottles. 10 of the fridges will be placed in Cleveland-area bars and will be locked. Once the Browns break their losing streak, the refrigerators will be unlocked through a WiFi controlled electromagnet and then fans will be able to enjoy some free beers.
“The Bud Light Browns ‘Victory Fridge’ is a fun way to celebrate and reward a fanbase that has never wavered in enthusiasm or dedication for their team no matter what happens,” said Andy Goeler, Vice-President of Marketing, Bud Light. “We’re proud to show our support for Cleveland, and we’re always looking to bring NFL fans and friends together for memorable experiences. It’s going to be fun to be part of the celebration when the team earns their first victory of the season.”
Bud Light previously teamed up with Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson provide free beer to fans along the team’s Super Bowl victory parade route.
In order to be eligible for the 200 to 300 bottles of Bud Light inside of each of the fridges, all you have to do is be inside the bar when the clock strikes zero and the Browns hold the lead. You must also have been carded by the time the clock hits zero.
Let’s hope the Browns don’t have to wait too long to enjoy a cold Bud Light.
