Police are arriving on the scene of a shooting at a library in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At least 1 person has been shot.

According to reports, a man was shot in the thigh outside of the Broward County Main Library on Tuesday, August 7. The shooting was reported around 2 p.m. EST at the library, which is located at 100 S. Andrews Ave.

TheĀ Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said the victim was shot in the thigh and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. The victim is reportedly currently in stable condition.
