What is the Tour de France?
As you may or may not know, the event is an annual male multiple stage bicycle race in, as you probably guessed by the name, France, although it often involves certain breaks into neighboring countries, that has taken place since 1903.
The 18 UCI WorldTeams are automatically invited to the race in the Tour de France, which include AG2R La Mondiale, Astana, Bahrain-Merida, BMC Racing Team, Bora-Hansgrobe, EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale, Team Dimension Data, Groupama-FDJ, Team Katusha-Alpecin, LottoNL-Jumbo, Lotto-Soudal, Movistar Team, Mitchelton-Scott, Quick-Step Floors, Team Sky, Team Sunweb, Trek-Segafredo and UAE Team Emirates. The four UCI Professional Continental teams include Cofidis, Direct Énergie, Fortuneo–Samsic and Wanty–Groupe Gobert.
When will the Tour de France 2018 take place?
This year, the Grand Tour runs from July 7 to 29, 2018, with Tour de France a la Voile taking place on August 10, 2018.
