Police are responding to a shooting near Gustav Adolf Church in Central Helsingborg, Sweden. According to Tech & Foreign affairs correspondent reporter Amichai Stein, several people have been injured.
The Swedish media has more information on the developing scene:
We were on my way to the bion, me and some friends. Then we heard shooting and a friend saw a man falling over. Then there was a man who flew on a motorcycle against traffic on Södergatan, says a witness who had heard of the newspaper.
The police confirm that a shooting has taken place and several patrols are in place at GA Square. A large area around GA church and Carl Krook street are locked. At least one person has been taken to hospital with ambulance, according to Sos Alarm.
Video online shows responders coming to the area and people retreating from buildings along the street.

Rickard Lundqvist, president of the police management center, was hesitant to provide further information at this time, including some eye-witness reports that a suspect may have fled the scene on a motorcycle.
How many people have been hospitalized and how seriously injured are they?
– I do not want to go into it. I do not have the information.
Witnesses we talked to were talking about a man who fled on a motorcycle?
– There is no information I can comment on.
Unconfirmed reports indicate there are at least four victims. Unofficial reports say that one man is dead and that two are injured. This comes nearly two weeks after three men were killed and three were injured in a mass shooting in Malmö on June 18. There is some speculation that the incidents could be connected.
