Drake is releasing his fifth studio album, “Scorpion,” on Friday, June 29, 2018. It is going to be a treat for fans of Champagne Papi with confirmation that it will be a double album. The rumors first started when “Side A” and “Side B” billboards started surfacing. Now, we know for certain that the album released by OVO Sound, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Republic Records will be the double album people are waiting for.
Executive producer credits on “Scorpion” belong to Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khabib.
One thing everyone is waiting for is to see whether Drake‘s new project will feature any Pusha T diss tracks. The two had a very public feud after Pusha T reignited the ghost-writing claim on his latest Kanye-produced album “DAYTONA,” before Drake responded with “Duppy Freestyle.”
That led to a scathing track from Pusha T, “The Story of Adiddon,” where he accused the star rapper of having an illegitimate child and also took a shot at “40” Shebib’s MS diagnosis. Some have claimed the feud is now over, but we won’t know for sure until we get to listen to “Scorpion” following its release.
