3 people are reportedly dead after shooting in Tallassee, Alabama, Walmart parking lot. Mayor Johnny Hammock says it appears the shooter crashed into a car in the parking lot, then shot multiple rounds into the vehicle killing two people inside. One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. A second victim, critically injured, died before a medical helicopter could arrive. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirms it is assisting with the investigation.
The shooting at the Tallassee Walmart comes less than a week after a Walmart in Clinton, Utah, was evacuated after reports of a man with a gun.
At the time of this writing, the shooter and the victims have yet to be identified.
