WATCH: Alexander Ovechkin Stanley Cup Parade Speech (VIDEO)

After 14 years in the NHL, Alexander Ovechkin won his first Stanley Cup title last week and has been on a bender ever since. Whether it be swimming in local fountains or doing keg stands out of the Stanley Cup itself, Ovi has been living his best life since the Caps won the cup, and if his Championship Parade speech is any indication, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Ovi, the Capitals, and their loyal fans celebrated the franchise’s first Stanley Cup victory with a parade down Constitution Avenue that attracted tens of thousands of fans. The Capitals championship is Washington’s first major professional sports title in 26 years.
Despite the fact that the team has been partying for about five straight days now, the boys had plenty of energy left while giving their speeches to the Capitals faithful that were filling The Mall. Ovechkin, the team captain (who was the last player to speak), opened his speech as only he could: “What’s up babes?”


Then, before the team broke out their rendition of “We Are The Champions”, Ovi gave the crowd a parting word:
