Brownsville Middle School Lockdown: Full Story of Reported “Shots Fired”

Police responding to reports of shots fired near Brownsville Middle School in Miami, Florida. According to reports, the scene is active inside an apartment complex near Brownsville Middle. Police were at the scene rushing kids quickly into the school.

The reports of shots fired near Brownsville Middle School is just the latest in a string of lockdowns, bomb threats, and shootings that have plagued the United States.

The Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools released a statement saying “Unacceptable and reprehensible disturbance to our schools and students. Brownsville Middle School is currently on lockdown after reports of shots fired in the area. Students and staff are safe.”
