Cinco de Mayo is America’s favorite Mexican holiday, despite not even being of Mexico’s favorite Mexican holidays, because in America, Cinco de Mayo means one thing: white people vomiting in sombreros. Most Americans assume the May 5th holiday is like some Mexican Thanksgiving or Independence Day, but it actually celebrates the Mexican Army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla.

Applebees is keeping it’s “Dollarita” — a $1 margarita that was only supposed to be here for the month of April, but is staying in some select locations for Cinco de Mayo. Applebees is also offering $2 Dos Equis beers for the entire month of May.
1,500 Chipotle chains support the DoorDash delivery app, which means from April 30 to May 6, Chipotle is offering free delivery through DoorDash with the code GETCHIPOTLE.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
As part of Cinco de Moe’s, free t-shirts will be given out to the first 50 customers at select locations on May 5th, and all burritos will be $5.
Hurricane Grill & Wings
Participating locations will be offering $3 tacos, tequila shots and Corona beer, as well as Hurricane Margaritas for $5.
The burger restaurant chain is offering two new items in celebration of Cinco de Mayo: a Strawberry Basil Margarita, and a Taco Tavern Burger Double for $6.99
The Tex-Mex chain is offering $2 tacos and $2 Mexican drafts from Friday through Sunday.
In preparation for Cinco de Mayo, TGI Fridays has created a Blackberry Buzz Rita, a Cinco-themed twist on their Blackberry Margarita.
If getting blackout drunk off tequila in your buddy’s backyard isn’t authentic enough for you, don’t fret! If you book the travel, Expedia is offering deals of as much as 40% off on hotels in Mexico. Travel must be booked by May 7, and the deals do not extend beyond August 5th.
The Mexican restaurant chain is offering tons of deals and specials all Cinco de Mayo weekend, including giveaways, lunch specials and live entertainment, and it’s Time Square location will be open until 4 A.M. on Friday and Saturday.
Chevy’s Fresh Mex
Besides offering a free appetizer upon joining their eClub, Chevy’s Fresh Mex is offering special Cinco de Mayo parties at several of its 37 locations across the country.
