With the final week of the regular season upon us, the opportunity to get a close look at the plethora of NCAA Tournament contenders is shrinking by the day. Although the Final Four will most likely consist of blue blood programs, there will undoubtedly be an immense number of upsets that will be difficult to foresee without at least a working knowledge of most if not all of the programs that could potentially make it to the NCAA Tournament. Sure, the likes of Middle Tennessee and Saint Mary’s have slim chances of making it all the way to a Final Four by the end of March, but there is almost always a sleeper program that shocks the nation by playing their best basketball during arguably one of the most-watched postseason sporting events. If nothing else, this final week of the regular season will display a type of competitive zeal that is only prevalent when everything is on the line for both perennial title contenders and desperate bubble teams alike.
