Shaun White, born September 3, 1986, is an American professional snowboarder and skateboarder. He is a three-time Olympic gold medalist who holds the record for the most X-Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder.

White began competing at the Winter X-Games in 2002. At the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, White won gold in the snowboard halfpipe event.
2011-2014
At the 2011 Winter X-Games, White won a historical 4th straight Gold in the Winter X Games.
At Winter X in 2012, White became the first person to score a perfect 100 in the men’s Snowboard Superpipe in the history of Winter X Games
On September 17, 2012, White was arrested near a hotel in Nashville for public intoxication and vandalism.
White finished fourth at the 2014 Winter Olympics in the Halfpipe event.
2015-Present
In 2016, Bad Things drummer Lena Zawaideh brought a lawsuit against White, claiming sexual harassment and breach of contract. White and Zawaideh reached an out-of-court settlement in May 2017; the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
At the 2018 Winter Olympics, White won gold in the snowboard halfpipe event.

The snowboarder with the most winter X games gold medals is not in the U.S. snowboarding team 2019, a non-olympic year which is a shock although his record is still intact as Joe Parosns failed to equalise the medal count of 18 in this year’s X games.
