Man City and Leicester City are headed to Etihad Stadium for a Premier League showdown!
The game is set to kick-off at 5:30 pm EST at the legendary Etihad Stadium. Tune into Sky Sky Sports for riveting details and coverage regarding the game!
On the Man City side, they are hoping to bring back David Silva. The Spaniard missed the previous match while Burnley held the runaway leaders to a 1-1 draw last time out as City’s lead was cut to 13 points, a lead surely still big for Manchester United to close. John Stones is available again for Man City. The strong English center back actually missed City’s last two games due to illness and a minor knee problem. Midfielder Phil Foden is out because of an ankle issue; in addition, striker Gabriel Jesus and left-backs Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph (all knee) are still out.
On the Leicester City side, Riyad Mahrez will miss a third successive match. The winger has not been seen by the club since a move to the Etihad collapsed on the final day of the transfer window, missing training and the games against Everton and Swansea.
The only change to the squad will see Shinji Okazaki drop out with a knee injury that could sideline him for up to two weeks.
The provisional squad for Man City is as follows: Ederson, Bravo, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Laporte, Kompany, Danilo, Zinchencko, Toure, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Foden, Diaz, Sterling, De Bruyne, B Silva, Aguero.
Leicester’s provisional squad is this: Schmeichel, Hamer, Jakupovic, Maguire, Huth, Fuchs, Simpson, Chilwell, Benalouane, Dragovic, James, Albrighton, Amartey, Gray, Silva, Ndidi, Iborra, Choudhury, Vardy, Iheanacho, Diabate.
