Although the Big 12 has largely dominated the national spotlight over the last several weeks, there is currently a perennially competitive conference that is now starting to take center stage in the college basketball limelight: the ACC. With Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia currently playing their best basketball, the top-heavy conference is well represented with well-rounded powerhouse programs that will look to prove themselves this week. In particular, the contest between Duke and Virginia this Saturday will be essential in determining who deserves to be considered the kings of a conference that has almost always been locked up by the likes of the aforementioned Blue Devils and Tar Heels.
