Aaron Paul was born and raised in Idaho, the son of a Baptist minister. After graduating high school, he moved to Los Angeles, working as a movie theater usher and competing as a model. At this point in his career, Paul’s earliest acting roles were appearances in music videos, like Korn’s Thoughtless and Everlast’s White Trash Beautiful. He also appeared in television commercials for products like Juicy Fruit and Vanilla Coke. He also appeared as a contestant on The Price Is Right before becoming famous.

His breakout role, however, was crystal meth dealer Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad. Originally, the character was meant to have been killed off during the first season, but the character and Paul’s performance were popular enough to keep him on the show for five seasons.
