Firefighters are at the scene of a 3 story structure fire at 15 West Main Street in Falconer, New York.
Breaking out on Sunday, January 14th, 2018, multiple people were reported to be rescued from the building. Social media later clarified that 11 people were rescued and now believed to be displaced from the fire.
As there had been a partial collapse of the building, the interior had also been pulled after the stairway had collapsed.
UPDATE: According to The Post-Journal, Falconer Mayor James Rensel released the following statement:
“We don’t know what started it yet, but I’m sure there will be an investigation. Most importantly, there was no one hurt, no one was trapped inside.”
