Georgia and Alabama faced off against each other in an SEC showdown, with the Bulldogs and Crimson tide fighting for the College Football National Championship.
With both teams scoreless in the first quarter, the Georgia Bulldogs scored 13 points in the second, showing off the talents ofMecole Hardman and Rodrigo Blankenship. The Alabama Crimson Tide had better luck in the third quarter, with 10 points over the Bulldogs’ 7. Towards the fourth quarter, things were neck and neck, with both teams reaching 20 points. In the end, however, both teams tied towards the end of the game.
As the game went into OT, the Bulldogs seemed like they would inch up with 3 extra points, but the Crimson Tide won the game, with the final score 26 to 23. It paid to have Tua Tagovailoa on their side.
