We were lucky enough to enjoy some great movies all throughout 2017, from Get Out, Dunkirk, Wonder Woman, and most recently Star Wars: The Last Jedi. With 2017 comiang to an end, we take a look what movies will be coming to a theater near you in 2018.
Black Panther

Chadwick Boseman who made his initial appearance as Blck Panther in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, makes his return in 2018. T’Challa aka Black Panther is the prince of the African nation of Wakanda who will be taking over the throne after his father’s murder. This movie will also star Michael B. Jordan who will play the role of the villain “Erik Killmonger”.
Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider made its first debut in theaters in July 25, 2003 starring amazing actress Angelina Jolie. After a few video games and a 14 year hiatus, Lara Croft (played by Alicia Vikander) is back on the big screen. Croft can’t stop thinking of her father’s mysterious death, so she leaves everything behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination, a fabled tomb on a mythical island somewhere off the coast of Japan.
Pacific Rim: Uprising

In the original movie Pacific Rim one of the main characters was Idris Elba (Stacker Pentecost) who sacrificed his life. In Pacific Rim: Uprising John Boyega will play Elba’s son Jake Pentecost, who will try and make his own legacy by leading the young cadets against this new threat that is the Kaijus.
Avengers: Infinity War

Thor: Ragnarok along with Spider-Man: Homecoming were the only Avengers related movies that were released in 2017. The rest of the gang took a break, because saving the world is hard work. But the band will be getting back together in 2018 to sacrifice everything as they attempt to defeat Thanos as he tries to destroy the universe.
Solo: A Star Wars Story

Although Star Wars just recently released Star Wars: The Last Jedi recently, they have no intentions of slowing down what has remained a popular brand for decades. Alden Ehrenreich will play Han Solo while Joonas Suotamo will play Chewbacca and Donald Glover will play Lando Calrissian. This movie will document Han and Chewbacca’s adventures before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope. Including their early encounter with Lando Calrissian.

The fast-talking mercenary and dark twisted jokes of Dead Pool (Ryan Reynolds) are back folks. I’m not sure what the movie will be about so here is the summary Twentieth Century Fox put out about the movie. “After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. The Incredibles 2

The Incredibles make a return to the theater after a 13 year absence. The undercover Superhero family won our hearts in 2004 as they set out to save the world from the evil Syndrome. Now they will team up again with Superhero friend Frozone (Samuel Jackson) to stop a new villain. But that’s easier said than done since they still are not sure what exactly is Baby Jack-Jack’s new powers.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Halloween first aired in 1978 where Jamie Lee Curtis was introduced as Laurie Strode. She starred in all the remakes following its original inception and will be back on the big screen to face off against Micheal Myers in 2018.
Aquaman

Jason Momoa made his debut as Aquaman in the recent film Justice League where the king of Atlantis band together with Supermn, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg to save the world. The Aquaman film will focus on a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and the undersea Atlanteans who are ready to last out in revolt.
