Former Patriots & Cowboys Wide Receiver Terry Glenn Killed In Car Accident

Former NFL wide receiver and Patriots draft pick Terry Glenn had lost his life in a car accident in Texas. He was 43 years-old at the time of the accident. His fiancee had been with him at the time of the car crash, although she is believed to have survived the accident and is currently hospitalized, while officials found Glenn dead on arrival. A native of Columbus Ohio, Glenn got his start in the sport while playing in high school, where he also got involved with basketball, tennis, and track. Attending Ohio State University, he became a walk-on player for the Buckeyes football team, later winning an athletic scholarship, as well as the Fred Biletnikoff Award.

Glenn had originally been drafted the seventh overall in the 1996 draft by the Patriots, for whom he stayed with for six seasons. Afterwards, he went on to play for the Packers. In total, he caught 593 passes for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns in his NFL career.
