Arizona vs. USC Live Stream: How to Watch NCAA Football Online

|

With nine weeks of college football in the books, there is a clash between two top 25 programs from the Pac-12. The Arizona Wildcats are currently 6-2 and are looking to potentially compete for a conference title in the college football playoff conversation. Arizona has won their last for games and are currently ranked number 22 in the AP poll. As for USC, the Trojans are currently 7-2 with their both losses coming at the hands of ranked foes. Both teams are practically eliminated from college football playoff picture but a win against a fellow top 25 team would definitely help.

Arizona’s success is due to star quarterback Khalil Tate. In four games as the starting quarterback, Tate has been unstoppable. Tate has thrown for six touchdowns and over 700 passing yards along with three interceptions. However, Tate has also been great in the running game. Tate already has eight rushing touchdowns and over 900 yards rushing. Tate is currently averaging 13.4 yards per carry and has become a Heisman trophy candidate in a span of four weeks. If Arizona plans on upsetting USC, Tate will need to have another monster game.

USC’s success is due to star quarterback Sam Darnold. Last season, Darnold threw for 31 touchdowns and over 3000 yards. Darnold was the catalyst for the Rose Bowl victory over Penn State as he threw for over 450 yards and five touchdowns. However, Darnold has had some turnover issues this season. Despite throwing for 20 touchdowns this season, he has also thrown ten interceptions. With Arizona’s potent offense, Darnold cannot afford to turn the ball over and give Arizona more possessions.

As for my prediction, I have to side with USC. I think that Tate is a phenomenal player but I think that USC has the better all-around team. Arizona gave up over 600 passing yards to Washington State so I expect Darnold to have a great performance. I think USC wins by a touchdown in an extremely high-scoring contest.
