PC gamers finally get their first taste of the Destiny universe this weekend with the Destiny 2 beta! Having never getting the original Destiny game on PC, gamer can rejoice that the sequel will be arriving on Blizzard’s battle.net service.
But, before the games official release on October 24, 2017, Destiny fans can put their skills to the test for one full weekend of the Destiny 2 beta!

When is the Beta?
Destiny 2’s PC open beta will run from Tuesday, August 29th to Thursday, August 31st, 2017.
Do I need to pre-order to get the beta?
Nope! The PC beta is open for all! Pre-Ordering the game does give you early access to the beta on August 28th, 2017.
How do I download the beta?
To download the Destiny 2 PC beta head on over to the official Blizzard website and download the Blizzard App for PC.
Once the open beta begins, the open beta will be available to download within the Destiny 2 section of the app.
What am I gonna be playing?
The PC beta will feature pretty much the same content from the consoles beta which includes:
- The “Homecoming” mission of the story’s campaign will be available to play, which takes place as the Tower is under attack.
- The “Inverted Spire” strike that allows you to play co-op with 3 other players on a mission that features a pretty cool boss at the end.
- Two PvP (player vs. player) Crucible modes and maps.
