Tequila is made from blue agave plant, which is found primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila. This plant can also be found in the highlands of the central-western Mexican state of Jalisco.
Jose Cuervo is a popular brand of tequila that comes to mind.
And how could I forget the infamous worm that comes at the bottom of some of the tequila bottles? Don’t worry, I’m sure that worm was highly intoxicated upon death. Can’t be too bad of a death before finding its way into some bar patron’s stomach.
