Erin Elizabeth McAuliffe, a 25-year-old math teacher at Rocky Mount Preparatory School in North Carolina, has been arrested for having sexual relationships with three students.
Detectives were tipped off in May that McAuliffe, 25, was possibly having inappropriate relationships with multiple students.
McAuliffe was arrested Thursday, June 8, after detectives launched an investigation and interviewed numerous faculty members and students.
McAuliffe has been charged with three counts of sexual activity with a student and one count of indecent liberties with a minor. She is being held at the Carteret County Jail under $20,000 bond.
Her first appearance in Nash County District Court is set for June 12.
