Amy Earnhardt, 35, is the wife of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. The couple made one of their first public appearances together at the NASCAR Awards Ceremony at Wynn Las Vegas in December of 2011.
“I’m completely overwhelmed with love & joy. Happiest girl in the world,” Amy, whose maiden name is Reimann, tweeted after Junior asked her to marry him. When asked how he knew the time had finally come to pop the question to Reimann, Dale Jr. said he had been thinking about it a “long, long time” and “just needed the right place to do it.”
Amy is a Texas native who graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Interior Design. She is a self-described “beach lover.” She never watched a single NASCAR Race before she met Dale in 2009. At that time, she was working for Wakefield Beasley & Associates.
Amy and Earnhardt became engaged during a trip to Germany in 2015. They were married on December 31, 2016.

On Tuesday, Earnhardt announced his upcoming retirement from NASCAR after 17 seasons. Amy quickly took to Twitter and Instagram to show her husband some love.
