The three-seed Toronto Raptors bounced back nicely from an ugly Game 1 defeat, beating the six-seed Milwaukee Bucks 106-100 on Tuesday night. It was virtually a must-win for the Raptors, as leaving Toronto down 0-2 would be a gigantic hole to dig themselves out of. We’re now deadlocked at 1-1 in this best-of-seven series that looks like it will produce some of the most entertaining basketball in the first round.
The dynamic backcourt duo of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry was too much for the Bucks to handle, as they both delivered excellent stat lines while hitting 50% of their shots from the floor. DeRozan finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Lowry had 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

As per usual for Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo carried the offensive load for the Bucks. The Greek Freak stuffed the stat sheet, scoring 24 points, grabbing 15 boards, and dishing out seven assists. He didn’t have the most efficient shooting night, though, hitting just 9-of-24 from the floor.
