When I saw this happen live last night during the Mets’ pre-game, I decided I’d only write about it today if they won.
Spoiler alert: the Mets won the game and they also won some bills for your boy, so all in all, it solid Monday night effort and result from the Mets.
But despite their performance on the field, the highlight of the night happened during pre-game warmups, as Mets ace and current King of New York Noah Syndergaard decided he wanted to f*ck with the Phillie Phantic, which is great because I’m pretty sure even Philly fans can’t stand the guy.

Think about it: what baseball player or New York athlete would you rather be than Noah Syndergaard? You could make a case for Bryce Harper, but the dude is married. Then there’s Kristaps Porzingis, but he’s goofy, lanky, and foreign. Noah Syndergaard is the sports king of New York these days, and at only 24 years old, it’s going to stay that way for a while.
