The evacuation of Parliament following an attack at Westminster has been halted as a suspicious package was found in a car nearby.

A suspicious package has been found in a car near where the Westminster terror attack took place earlier today. The bomb squad is on the scene investigating. Parliament was being evacuated due to the earlier attack when the suspicious package was found, halting the evacuation.

At least 11 people were injured and one woman was killed after a man plowed his car into a crowd and began attacking people with a machete. One of the injured was a police officer. The suspect was driving a grey 4×4 which he crashed into the gate outside Parliament.
Police has sectioned off the are as they continue to investigate. The earlier incident is being classified as a terror attack. The knifeman was shot by police.
