The UCF Knights have made it to the semifinals after annihilating the Memphis Tigers on Friday with a score of 84-54. The Knights are entering the XL Center this Saturday afternoon with a lot of momentum on their side. But they’re facing off against the SMU Mustangs; a team that is on a 14-game-winning-streak.
The Mustangs are the top team in the entire American Athletic Conference. SMU haven’t lost a game since January 12th, when they fall to the Ohio Bobcats by only two points. They later avenged their loss against the Bobcats, defeating the Ohio team by nine points.
Can the Knights sleigh the powerful Mustangs? These Knights are riding high on a wave of momentum after squashing the Memphis Tigers. Meanwhile, the Mustangs could barely get past the East Carolina Pirates.
