Real Madrid heads to the Stadio San Paolo in Napoli for the second leg of their round-of-16 matchup against Napoli.
The Spanish giants and current La Liga leaders Real Madrid won the first leg of the matchup at home 3-1. In order for Napoli to advance, they need to defeat Real Madrid by a score of 2-0, as they would advance on away goals.
Napoli, down after the first leg, expect to have Dries Mertens back from injury. As for Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are expected in Madrid’s lineup after missing Saturday’s 4-1 win over Eibar. Ronaldo has recovered from a minor injury while Bale was suspended for the first leg. Defender Raphael Varane is out with a thigh injury.
