Bellew (28-2-1, 18 KOs) is from Liverpool, Merseyside, England, and he’s held several titles at the light heavyweight and cruiserweight levels. His biggest win of his career came on May 29, 2016, as he knocked out Ilunga Makabu in the third round to win the WBC cruiserweight title.

Bellew has since made one successful title defense, knocking on BJ Flores in the third round of their October 15, 2016 bout. He won’t have his WBC cruiserweight belt on the line for his fight against Haye, as it is taking place in the heavyweight division.
Haye (28-2, 26 KOs) is from Bermondsey, London, England, and he’s held titles in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. Some of his most notable victories over his career were a seventh round knockout of Jean-Marc Mormeck (won WBA, WBC, and The Ring cruiserweight belts), a second round knockout of Enzo Maccarinelli (won WBO cruiserweight belt), and a majority decision over Nikolai Valuev (won WBA heavyweight belt).
